Nintendo Terminates Online Services for Wii and Nintendo DS

Nintendo officially is terminating all online services for Wii and Nintendo DS families. Here is a list of the systems that their games will be affected.

Nintendo DSi
Nintendo DSi XL
Wii
Wii mini

All online interactions will be terminated for games in the Wii and Nintendo DS family. Most Wii channels accessible from the Wii Menu will be discontinued. However, Mii Channel, Photo Channel, Amazon Instant Video Channel, Hulu Plus Channel, YouTube Channel, Netflix Channel, Internet Channel, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword Save Data Channel, and Wii Fit Plus Channel services will remain available. Also, the Wii Shop Channel and Nintendo DSi Shop will remain open. Or at least for now. Here is a list of the games that their online services will be affected. Things such as the GTS on Pokemon Diamond Version, Pearl Version, Platinum Version, HeartGold Version, SoulSilver Version, Black Version, White Version, Black Version 2, and White Version 2 will be discontinued. A HIGH WARNING IF YOU HAVE ANY POKEMON ON THE GTS IN DP, HGSS, BW, OR B2W2 SERIES TAKE YOUR POKEMON OFF THE GTS BEFORE MAY 20 1014 BECAUSE THEY WILL BE DELETED.
